Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN and HLN's numerous platforms. Her TV show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30, 2012. The show also has her as an on-camera meteorologist as well as the co-executive director. The first novel she wrote was EXTREME weather, which was published by Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston she also offered entertainment and lifestyle reporting as the special assignment reporter three days a week. She worked at WFOR-TV as a weekend meteorologist before moving to WB56. She worked in several reports and meteorology roles in News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel - and WXII-TV - the NBC affiliate station located in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
